Earl Greer Routon
Earl G. Routon, 50, direct representative in the Tennessee
legislature from Henry County and former principal of Grove High School, was killed in an automobile accident near Maryville. Routon was a representative of Silver-Burdette textbook company and was en route to Nashville rom Greenville, where he had attended an education meeting. He was the son of Joe Routon, who had served as Henry County Superintendent of Education 37 years.
